Hutt Valley Benefit Education Service was established in October 2002
with Hutt Valley community groups, The Home of Compassion(Heretaunga)
and The Wellington People Centre.
We provide a free and quality service assisting with information.
The advocate at BEST can provide up-to-date information on all the benefits and grants
paid by Work &Income.ADVOCACY:
If you feel that you need support in dealing with Work & Income, with your authorisation,
an advocate from BEST may be able to help you by:
contacting W&I on your behalf by phone or in writing
going with you to a W&I appointment
raising your issues with the Service Manager at the W&I office
